The question is why wouldn’t it be? Belly dance is for everyone!
The beauty of belly dance is that it doesn’t matter your age, shape, level of fitness or dance experience, you can start learning at any time. Our Fundamentals class is the best way to get started especially if you have never taken a dance class before. All you need is to bring your beautiful self to class and to be willing to learn. Let’s give it a go? -
If you have an injury or medical condition, please seek professional advice from your doctor to see if the class is appropriate for you. When you chose to sign up for our classes, please inform your teacher about your condition.
-
If this is your first-time learning belly dance or you have learned it in the past and would like to revisit the basics then our Fundamentals class is the best option for you. We cannot emphasise enough the importance of building a strong foundation. The secret to becoming a great dancer starts by exceling at the core movements.
If you have attended our Fundamentals classes for 1-2 years and feel confident with the basics, we offer the Beyond Beginners class which will take you to a new journey where you will learn more complex movements and choreography.
If you have attended our Beyond Beginners classes for 1-2 years and feel confident at the techniques and choreographies you have learned, please have a chat with Mirian to see if it’s the right time for you to move to the Intermediate class.

We recommend that you wear comfortable gym clothes that will allow you to move easily. You can wear a scarf or coin belt on your hips if you have one. If you are not comfortable in bare feet, you can wear ballet slippers.
Please note, if you wear large or baggy clothes, it might make it more difficult for your teacher to see your movement and give you feedback.
-
If you miss a class, you can make up for it by attending another class within the same term. Missed classes are not refundable and cannot be discounted in future classes.
